why do i like a bloated FWD sedan this much????
like really, if i needed a comfy, quick, stylish daily for about $30K that i could rack up miles in with extreme comfort, i don’t think i could do any better than this.

It looks good, but the Impala somehow manages to make me feel ambivalent towards it in a way no other new car can.

Too bad that they’re not rear-wheel-drive (and appealing to police departments?)
We can’t alway drive alone, or with one passenger, in a Mustang, Camaro, Miata, or BRZ.
Chevrolet Impala and SS seem to me to be good choices for carrying persons and luggage comfortably and swiftly.
I would LOVE to drive a preowned, certified SS.

Try a new Malibu... It handles surprisingly well, has an 8 spd auto attached to a 2.0 turbo, and has nearly the same interior legroom as an Impala AND looks better to boot. Also has adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, park assist, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, and you can get wifi in it.

while it is cool and all, there’s only 4 chevys I’d actually drive.
-Camaro
-SS
-corvette
-Silverado

How about light, efficient and still kind of quick but with space for adults? http://www.caranddriver.com/mazda/mazda-6

How long will people hate on it just because of the name? Take off the bow tie from the grill and give it another name and I think the reaction would be a whole lot different.

I would say the same but I am currently leasing a Cruze to keep the M3 out of unsavory weather and I really like that for a small car, it's powerful and quiet. I am really excited for the new Cruze hatchback, think I am going to get out of my current one and into an RS package with 6 speed manual.

The v6 is plenty, but you can get the hemi and the amazing 8-speed. The V6 gets 30mpg hwy too.

I love almost everything about the 300.
BUT. Chrysler reliability ruins the thought of every purchasing one with my own money. Give me an SS or a G8 any day instead

I don’t understand the “Chrysler reliability” thing. I’ve owned dodges, Chryslers, and Hyundais my whole life. And the Hyundais broke more.

I’ve only owned one, a 2005 T/C, and it hasn’t been horrible, although the piston rings are going out now at about 200k. I know too many people with Libertys, Pacificas, and Chargers who have had more than their fair share of problems, though.

Yea... The trucks are great, but jeeps can be tricky.
